Cancel any time — no contracts, no hassle
If the monthly plan isn't right for you, you can cancel whenever you want. No phone calls, no hidden fees, no hard feelings. After canceling your subscription, your website will go offline. If payment fails, your website will also go offline. If you later decide you want to own the website outright, you can buy it with a one-time buyout quote.
Refunds: monthly fees are generally non-refundable, including partial months after cancellation. One-time build fees are non-refundable once work has begun, except for amounts covering work not yet performed.

I'm an independent website builder, not a certified, licensed, or accredited developer, designer, or agency, and I don't claim to be one. What you get is honest, careful work at a fair price — judge it by the sites in my portfolio, not by letters after a name.
I use modern AI tools in my process
AI and automated tools may be used in the design, coding, written content, images, testing, and ongoing maintenance of your website. They help me work faster and keep the price low. Every site is reviewed by me before it goes live, and I'll change anything you're not happy with.
No promises about results
A good website helps you look credible and makes it easy for people to reach you. I can't and don't guarantee more traffic, more leads, more sales, or a higher position on Google — those depend on search engines and factors outside my control.

- What happens after I sign up?
- I send you a short checklist of what I need — business name, photos, hours, services, and anything you want on the site. Then I build a draft, you review it, and I make changes until it's right. Once you approve it, the site goes live.
- How long does the first website take?
- Most simple local-business sites are ready within 1 to 2 weeks, as long as I have your content and feedback. More complex sites or sites that need a lot of custom writing may take longer.
- What do I need to give you?
- At minimum: your business name, what you do, and how customers should reach you. It also helps to have photos, your logo, hours, prices, and a list of pages you want. Don't worry if you don't have everything — I can guide you through it.
- Can I cancel the monthly plan?
- Yes, any time. Just email me at maxielocalworks@gmail.com or call (217) 506-1491. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. Your site stays live through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then goes offline.
- Can I buy the website outright instead of subscribing?
- Yes. I can build you a one-time website that you own. After handover, you arrange your own hosting and handle updates. It costs more up front — typically around $1,200 depending on what you need — and I can quote it once I know the details.
- Are the websites really made by a person, or just AI?
- I build every site myself, and I review everything before it goes live. I do use AI and automated tools to help me work faster, but the final decisions and quality check are mine.
